Noogieland
When cancer happens, it happens to the entire family and deeply affects children. Noogieland is specifically designed for children who have either been diagnosed with cancer, have a family member living with cancer or who have lost a family
member to cancer.
Named after the famous "noogies" given to Gilda Radner when she performed on Saturday Night Live, Noogieland is a special place that offers children a wide range of activities geared just to them. A number of the Gilda's Clubs hold Noogie Fest, an annual Halloween party for children, their family and friends; Noogie Nights - special supervised play hours for children whose parents are attending activities in the clubhouse as well as have craft time, story time, puppetry and more.
Noogieland offers support groups as well as the opportunity for kids to play and “just be kids”.
