CAMPAIGN LEADERSHIP
Tom McBride, Campaign Chairman, is President of McBride Financial Services and has dedicated much of his time to serving the community in a voluntary capacity. He has served as Past President of the MacLaren Art Centre for seven years, was on the Ontario Chamber of Commerce Board, Chairman of the Georgian College Innovation Centre Board of Directors, Past President of the Barrie Chamber of Commerce and was the founding Chairman of the Barrie Visitor and Convention Bureau.
Brian Tamblyn, Honourary Campaign Chairman, is the President of Georgian College, is a founding member of Gilda’s Club Barrie Ontario and currently serves on the Board of Directors at Royal Victoria Hospital. He is very active in the community and has also served as chairman of numerous college committees, making him a valuable resource to this campaign.
Patricia Gilbert is the inspiration behind Gilda’s Club Barrie Ontario. Her experience both as a caregiver and cancer survivor reinforced her belief that a gap existed between available support during and post cancer treatment. After a great deal of research, Patricia knew that the philosophy of Gilda’s Club was exactly what our community needed, and she continues to work tirelessly to ensure that the need is fulfilled.
